Why do they do that?

  • Today's weather in the evening
    Frankly, I don't see much point in watching the weather. I mean, it's often wrong. But why do they bother telling us (in the evening) what the weather was like earlier in the day? I mean, it's not like anything can be done about it at that stage!
  • No area code on business phone number!
    A phenomena I see in Dublin alot are businesses who don't bother with putting their area code in front of their phone numbers. I mean, do they NOT want business from outside their areas? Do they think everyone will KNOW the area code? What is that?

biscuit crumble, coated vanilla and strawberry flavour ice cream, Ingredients: reconstituted skimmed milk, vegetable fat, sugar, wheat flour, glucose fructose syrup, whey solids, glucose syrup, emulsifier (mono and di-glycerides of fatty acids), stabilisers (locust bean gum, guar gum, carrageenan), flavourings, colours (beetroot red, annatto, allura red, carmoisine), salt cornstarch...

Ah, just like mother used to make...<g>
